In May 2016, at the European Business Aviation Convention and Exhibition (EBACE) held in Geneva, the manufacturer and developer Honda Aircraft received the European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) certificate for HondaJet.
On July 1, 2016 HondaJet Central Europe, the exclusive dealer and distributor of Honda Aircraft in Central Europe, appointed the top management of Jetlux ltd as the exclusive authorized sales representative for the new HondaJet HA-420 in Ukraine.
The aircraft with a capacity of up to 5 passengers is certified for single pilot operation. It has a cruising speed of 422 knots (777 km/h) with a working range of over 2000 km. Of particular interest and the latest development by Honda Aircraft is the location of engines above the wing (OTWEM). This design provides a reduction in frontal resistance; increased passenger compartment and luggage compartment capacity; reduced noise level in the cabin. The above properties characterise a highly efficient lightweight jet, which is the best in its class.
